Fujifilm lands DOD contract for Synapse

Fujifilm Medical Systems USA has been awarded the DIN-PACS II contract from the U.S. Dept. of Defense for its Synapse web-based PACS.

The contract will be the basis for which the Dept. of Defense and other federal agencies, including the Veterans Administration, will obtain PACS for their own facilities, Fuji said.

The multi-vendor contract is effective now through September 21, 2009.
