Consorta re-ups R2 contract

Group purchasing organization Consorta has renewed its contract with computer-aided detection (CAD) developer R2 Technology for one year. R2 provides Consorta with CAD systems for use in mammography as well as services to assist in image analysis, workflow, PACS integration and DICOM connectivity. Consorta's membership includes about 500 acute-care facilities, representing 55,944 beds and more than 1,800 nonacute-care sites.
