Philips' patient monitoring division touts customer satisfaction awards
Philips Medical Systems this week said that its patient monitoring business has earned high marks from its customers in two different surveys by independent healthcare research companies.
For the sixth consecutive year, customers ranked Philips No. 1 in overall service performance and No. 1 in overall manufacturer satisfaction, according to the 2004 IMV Ltd. ServiceTrak Patient Monitoring Systems survey. In addition, Philips was named the best large vendor for service quality in the 2004 Patient Monitoring Vendor Service Quality Report conducted by Medical Strategic Planning.
According to Philips, service factors evaluated in both surveys included: installation and training, satisfaction with service, satisfaction with manufacturer, system performance, help desk, and satisfaction with service engineer.
