Relizon awards Novation document management contract

The Relizon Company has been awarded a three-year contract with two one-year options for document management by Novation (Irving, Texas), the supply company of VHA Inc. and the University HealthSystem Consortium (UHC). The contract is part of a master agreement involving 14 different suppliers of related products and services, from records archiving to healthcare document management.

Relizon supplies business process systems for document management, billing and relationship marketing. The company has been one of Novation's document management suppliers since 2000.

Novation serves more than 2,300 VHA and UHC member healthcare organizations that purchase approximately $500 million of printed documents and associated services annually. They represent 27 percent of the nation's staffed hospital beds.
