Skaggs awards 7-year contract with GE for IT
GE Healthcare has inked a seven-year product agreement with Skaggs Community Health Center (SCHC) of Branson, Mo., that it says will advance clinical and patient care areas.
Concurrent with the agreement, 12 products will be installed over a two-year timeframe, GE said. The systems include: Physician Office EMR, RIS, PACS, computerized provider order entry (CPOE), care team documentation, and electronic MAR, perioperative, perinatal, pharmacy, CR, cardiology, portal, comprehensive device integration as well as service and support through 2011.
The 132-bed hospital currently uses GE systems in its clinics, surgery suites and birthing place.
