InnerWireless taps new VP of product development
InnerWireless Inc. recently announced the appointment of Janet Lind, Ph.D., as vice president of product development. Lind’s focus is to expand the company’s product line for healthcare, commercial, hospitality and government markets. Specifically, she is tasked with the design, development and delivery of products that address the needs of mobile enterprises. One area of focus will be modular designs for integrated wireless devices for different communications infrastructures around the world.
Lind has served in various C-level and executive roles within Cyneta Networks, Nortel Networks and Siemens, and her wireless experience includes consulting with InnerWireless while it developed Spot, the company’s radio frequency location application. Immediately prior to joining InnerWireless, Lind held numerous leadership positions in the wireless, technology and education industries, most recently serving as the assistant dean for the University of Texas at Dallas’ Jonsson School of Engineering and Computer Science.
