Executive Announcements: HIMSS gets new senior VP; new leadership for RBMA board

Healthcare Information and Management Systems Society (HIMSS) and its Analytics group named Gregory S. Walton, CPHIMS, FHIMSS, as senior vice president. In a role with dual responsibilities at both the parent and subsidiary levels of HIMSS, Walton is responsible for coordination of strategic planning and enhancement of relationships with healthcare organizations.

In September, Gregory M. Kusiak assumed the office of RBMA (Radiology Business Management Association) president of the Board of Directors. Shannon J. Doyle, the previous president, stepped down from his Board position, though he will remain an active member of RBMA. Kusiak is the practice manager of The Hill Medical Corporation in Pasadena, Calif., and president of CMBS, a full-service practice management firm.
