HIMSS Analytics inked a four-year agreement with health IT vendor QuadraMed for the use of its web-enabled HIMSS Analytics Database. The database vendors track technology adoption in healthcare by collecting utilization and deployment data trend information on software applications, wireless local area networks, Web tool sets, RFID and security applications.


MEDHOST, provider of the full-suite Emergency Department Information System (EDIS), inked an agreement with VHA, a provider of supply chain management services and support for regional and national networks in healthcare, for ED information systems. MEDHOST’s EDIS is installed in numerous VHA hospitals across the nation. The MEDHOST system combines process and risk management technology, which directly leads to increases in patient safety and staff communication in the ED.
