Mallinckrodt, a division of Tyco Healthcare, introduced at RSNA 2006 30 milliliter (mL) bottles of its MD-Gastroview oral iodinated contrast agent. The company said this is the unit dose solution for diagnostic imaging of the gastrointestinal tract during radiographic exams and for marking segments of the bowel in CT procedures.
