West Coast imaging center to install Empiric Systems RIS/PACS

Bellevue Medical Imaging (BMI) in Bellevue, Wash., has selected the Encompass.NET RIS/PACS application from healthcare information and imaging systems vendor Empiric Systems.

BMI will replace its current RIS/PACS to move to the Encompass.NET platform, according to the Morrisville, N.C.-based Empiric.

Built on Microsoft's .NET web platform, Encompass.NET is designed for delivery on a private network or over a secure internet connection, integrating RIS, PACS, billing and a host of management tools, the company said.
