Quantum introduces rolling lateral cassette holder

Quantum Medical Imaging has released the QR-LCH-rolling lateral cassette holder, which accommodates portable DR panels, CR and film cassettes up to 14 x 17 inches in size, with size-adjustment locks.

The Ronkonkoma, N.Y.-based company said that the holder’s ergonomic design enables the positioning of imaging plates, of any size or kind, around the patient facilitating a precise and stable imaging platform within the emergency room, operating room and/or radiographic examination room.

The new system has a vertical travel of up to 45.9 inches and the receptor can be tilted to a full 90 degree angle to create a flat top for extremities such as hands, according to Quantum.
