Medical practice software developer Spring Medical Systems of Houston has formed a strategic alliance with revenue-cycle management systems developer WFS Services of Secaucus, N.J., to provide comprehensive technology for the financial and clinical needs of client practices.

Through the partnership, Spring Medical’s electronic health record (EHR) application, SpringCharts, will be integrated with WFS' revenue-cycle management products to provide a single data-entry point for a practice and a seamless relationship between clinical and financial systems, according to the firms.

The integrated system will provide medical practices with a full-scale offering to manage both its front-office and back-office technology requirements and will be offered through comprehensive joint sales and marketing initiatives, the companies said.
