Barco introduces wide-screen display

Medical display device developer Barco is unveiling a new wide-screen surgical display at the American College of Surgeons Clinical Congress in New Orleans this week.

The 24-inch MDSC-2124 introduces a wide-screen (16:10 ratio) LCD panel featuring 1920 x 1200 resolution. The monitor can connect with high-definition endoscopy cameras, room and boom cameras, ultrasound, PACS and patient information systems, according to Barco.
