EHRConsultant launches speech recognition, EHR video series

EHRConsultant, a distributor of voice recognition software products, has launched an educational video series about the integration of speech recognition software and EHRs.

The videos will provide specific scenarios of speech recognition software in general and specialty use, using multiple EHRs, to demonstrate how providers can capture medical information, according to the Palm Beach Gardens, Fla.-based EHRConsultant.

The first set of videos demonstrates the integration of Nuance’s Dragon NaturallySpeaking medical speech recognition software with EHRs from vendors serving all market sizes, including cardiology, dermatology, emergency medicine/urgent care, family practice/internal medicine, gastroenterology and pediatrics, the distributor said.
