Argole releases oncology module for Akessa EMR suite

Healthcare information technology provider Argole Systems of Rockville, Md., has released a free beta version of Akessa Oncology, the first offering of its Akessa electronic medical record (EMR) and practice workflow suite.

The firm said that Akessa Oncology provides oncologists with a comprehensive EMR integrated with systems for pharmaceutical inventory management, practice management and billing.

According to Argole Systems, Akessa EMR solutions for other subspecialties and family practice groups are expected to follow.
