Eclipsys reported strong financial results for its fiscal 2007 third quarter (end-Sept. 30), showing an upturn in revenues and income.
The Atlanta-based company posted revenues of $121.1 million in the third quarter 2007, an 11.5 percent increase compared to $108.6 million for the same quarter last year.
Based on generally accepted accounting principles, the firm reported a net income for the third-quarter of 2007 of $8.9 million, a 58.9 percent increase compared to $5.6 million for the year-ago quarter.
The company said it estimates 2007 annual revenues will be slightly down from earlier guidance, from $473 million to $476 million, mainly due to the company's decision to exit the networking services business.
