Toshiba America Medical Systems (Booth 3429) is showcasing its digital radiography line at RSNA this year, including the multi-functional Kalare x-ray system. The system is optimized for the most demanding clinical environments by ensuring that more exams are performed with ease, comfort and speed. The system has an extended table weight limit, tableside controls and radiation dose reduction technology.

Also on display is the Radrex-I, whose features include: Auto-tracking, which eliminates the need to manually position the x-ray tube and detector by providing synchronization for table and wall stand tracking; Auto-collimation, which automatically selects the correct collimation size for the patient’s body part; Auto-program, which selects the correct program for each specific x-ray procedure; Auto-center stop, which provides visual guidance for quick and easy detector centering; and Auto-stitching, which allows the user to combine two or three 17x17-inch images for easy acquisition of long leg and spine images.

Toshiba also is highlighting its vascular x-ray offerings—the Infinix-i product line, which offers complete head-to-toe and fingertip-to-fingertip imaging capabilities with a variety of configurations.
