Barco releases management suite, 3D workstation

Barco has launched its advanced control room management software and its 3D workstation for multi-channel desktops and small- to medium-size video walls.

The Kortrijk, Belgium-based Barco said its networked CMS-100 software is a control room management suite that facilitates decision-makers to collaborate in small- to medium-size control rooms with access to information and connection to multiple sources, configuring how they are displayed.

The new 3D workstation PWS-101 controller has been designed to drive multi-monitor personal desktops, personal display walls and small- to medium-size video walls, according to Barco. The workstation makes use of the power of up to two Quad-Core Intel Xeon CPUs, high-end, 3D graphics acceleration and media integration capabilities.

With the two interoperable visualization solutions, Barco said it is enhancing collaboration and information sharing between operators in small- to medium-size control rooms.
