GE LightSpeed CT750 HD
GE Healthcare (Booths 5529) is showcasing an array of ultrasound systems designed for both radiology and vascular applications at the point of care as well as enhancements in CT. GE’s IT business also is featuring the benefits of its cardiovascular PACS and information systems.

The Logiq i, a wireless capable ultrasound system, is light enough to carry throughout the hospital for comprehensive radiology or vascular studies, even musculoskeletal and oncology imaging.

GE also is highlighting the GE LightSpeed CT750 HD, which the company says promises to set new standards for diagnostic confidence and clinical clarity. Driven by a detector created from modified garnet gemstones, the scanner is redefining image quality, with up to 33 percent greater detail through the body and up to 47 percent greater detail in the heart than today’s industry standard, without sacrificing dose. The CT750 HD delivers up to an 83 percent reduction in dose for cardiac scans and up to a 50 percent reduction across the entire body, according to the company.

GE’s Centricity Cardiology IT Solutions extend the benefits of Centricity Cardiology DMS and Centricity CVPACS into an integrated cardiology offering.  Using Centricity WEB, users have access to current and historical exams throughout the enterprise on a single workstation. The IT-driven workflow maintains records on many aspects of cardiology department care, from registration and patient history to results reporting, while providing data to make important clinical and financial decisions.
