Cardiac Science, Misys EMRs to connect

Cardiac Science has signed a letter of intent to begin establishing Heartcentrix connectivity with Misys Healthcare’s Misys MyWay EMR system.

With this agreement, Misys customers have the potential to access information from new or currently installed Burdick and Quinton electrocardiograph devices, stress systems and Holter devices while using Misys MyWay EMR systems, said Paul Edge, vice president, clinical solutions for Misys Healthcare.

The HeartCentrix solution from Cardiac Science helps bring patient history, clinical charting, e-prescribing, lab orders, results and patient follow-up information together into a single EMR application, according to Misys.
