McKesson debuts workforce management suite

McKesson Provider Technologies has introduced its workforce management suite that supports the work and life balance of care providers and facilitates communication across the enterprise.

As part of McKesson’s Patient Care Advantage offering, the workforce management solution suite allows an organization to staff employees at the right time and place within the care continuum.

The workforce management offering features staffing, scheduling and enterprise productivity management, open shift management and time and attendance capabilities, as well as human resource and payroll management.

The suite equips managers and leaders with web-based dashboards highlighting the information they need to make sound business decisions, and also provides web-based access to key HR functions that support work-life balance, such as visibility into available open shifts and the ability to view vacation accruals, McKesson said.

Key capabilities include: clinically driven staffing; open shift management; time and attendance tracking; and HR and payroll management.
