Dolbey introduces a back-end speech recognition product
Dolbey, a healthcare dictation, transcription, speech and coding products company, has unveiled a new speech recognition product, Voice2Text, at the Medical Transcription Industry Alliance conference in Long Beach, Calif.
Voice2Text is designed for the medical transcription service industry and offers the productivity enhancements of back-end speech without requiring a change to the document management platform used by the service company, Dolbey said.
The Concord, Ohio-based company said its Voice2Text has been integrated with Dolbey’s Fusion Voice digital dictation system and provides integration to a company’s existing document platform.
Voice2Text allows a company to continue utilizing the document management system they already own to create reports, distribute reports, count lines, and perform QA, billing and payroll while capturing an increase in transcriptionist's productivity offered by back-end speech, according to Dolbey.
The company also noted that its Voice2Text add-on to Fusion Voice digital dictation is powered by the speech engine, Philips SpeechMagic from Royal Philips Electronics.
