Naviscan

Naviscan (Booth 1118) is displaying its high-resolution organ-specific PET scanner, highlighting its breast application, positron emission mammography (PEM). Its biopsy accessory provides the ability to target and guide biopsies of suspicious breast lesions identified with PEM. The accessory is 510(k) pending and not yet available for sale in the U.S.

Naviscan also is launching its new viewing interface developed in collaboration with MiMvista. Key features include the ability to swim through a series of tomographic images, locate the “hottest” slice, and measure background to lesion ratio.
