Medipattern shifts management team

Medipattern, a developer of computer-aided detection software has added Cindy Rapp and Bob Dockendorff to its management team.

Rapp will assume the position of vice president of clinical program development where her primary focus will be to expand Medipattern's continuing medical education training programs as well as support of clinical trials and reseller product training, according to the Toronto-based company. Rapp has been involved in sonography for approximately 25 years as an active member of the Society of Diagnostic Medical Sonography (SDMS) and the American Institute of Ultrasound in Medicine (AIUM),
 
Medipattern said that Dockendorff will take on the role of vice president of sales. The company said that from 1981-2003, Dockendorff was with ATL Ultrasound and later Philips Medical Systems where he eventually became vice president.

Janet Sterritt, Medipattern's current vice president of sales and marketing, will shift her focus to identifying new products and markets as vice president of business strategy and marketing.
