ACR Image Metrix names Young as senior director of clinical operations

ACR Image Metrix has appointed Brenda Young to its staff as the senior director of clinical operations. 

Young will be based in Philadelphia with responsibilities of managing consultants, supervising project and safety managers, and ensuring performance of clinical operations standard operating procedures. 

With many years of experience at the American College of Radiology (ACR), Young also has previous experiences as a clinical research associate, quality control auditor, regulatory affairs coordinator, and senior director of clinical trials informatics.  As the senior director of clinical trials informatics, she managed all activities related to the clinical trials management system, trained staff on the use of the system, and participated in National Cancer Institute bioinformatics initiatives, according to ACR Image.

ACR Image Metrix is headquartered in the college’s Philadelphia office, alongside the ACR’s clinical research division. This division has provided administrative, data management, information technology, image archival, and statistical support for more than 500 clinical research studies.
