GE to jointly develop diagnostic centers in China

Mingyuan Medicare Development has entered into a strategic cooperation memorandum with the Chinese division of GE Healthcare to jointly develop medical and diagnostic centers in China.

Under the memorandum, Mingyuan would build up a network of medical and diagnostic centers in China with the help of GE for the provision of ‘Early Health’ services.

The ‘Early Health’ services would include an early screening for major diseases with the application of the biomedical servicing kits, provided by Mingyuan, and a combination of x-ray, digital mammography, CT, MRI and molecular imaging technologies provided by GE. In addition, GE would promote the ‘Early Health’ concept among the public.

GE Healthcare currently has a workforce of more than 3,000 employees in China, and has set up service centers in various cities in China.
