Florida clinic chooses athenahealth practice management, billing service
Suncoast Medical Clinic, a multi-specialty medical group, will be replacing its web-hosted practice management system with athenahealth’s on-demand practice management and billing service, athenaCollector.
Suncoast Medical Clinic employs more than 60 medical providers and has nine locations throughout greater St. Petersburg, Fla.
As part of its athenaCollector service, athenahealth has built a proprietary knowledge-base of payor reimbursement process rules, athenaRules, designed to enforce medical provider office workflow requirements, which is updated continuously by athenahealth staff.
