Bellomo appointed as TriZetto president

Tony Bellomo has been appointed to the position of president of TriZetto Group. 

With the completion of TriZetto’s acquisition by Apax Partners, President and Chief Operating Officer Kathleen Earley is leaving to pursue new opportunities, according to the company. Bellomo’s appointment will be effective Oct. 1, and Earley will remain until then to facilitate the transition.

Bellomo has been an executive officer at TriZetto since October 2000, when Erisco Managed Care Technologies was acquired from IMS Health, according to the Newport Beach, Calif.-based TriZetto. As the former president of Erisco, Bellomo spearheaded the development and launch of the Facets administration system and served several years as a division president.
