InSite One signs Elizabeth Wende storage contract

InSite One has signed a storage contract with Elizabeth Wende Breast Care (EWBC) in Rochester, N.Y., a freestanding mammography and breast imaging center, performing mammography, ultrasound, breast MRI and stereotactic biopsy.

The Wallingford, Conn.-based InSite One said it will manage the long-term storage, business continuity and disaster recovery for the breast care facility.

The company said its patented InDex storage management services deliver a suite of standards-based solutions that adhere to DICOM, HL7 and XDS (cross document sharing) protocols. The on-demand repository ensures retrieval of clinical information throughout the enterprise with retention for their legal-life in a tamper-proof HIPAA compliant environment.
