Fujifilm, Thinking Systems merge PACS for molecular imaging solutions

Thinking Systems has integrated its ThinkingPACS with Synapse PACS from Fujifilm Medical Systems USA to provide enterprise molecular imaging PACS solutions.

The PACS integration will enable Synapse users to now have access to solutions for nuclear cardiology processing/quantification, PET-CT fusion, SPECT/CT fusion and general nuclear medicine processing/quantification for MUGA, renal, gallbladder, gastric emptying and lung studies, as well as general regions-of-interest analysis, according to Xiaoyi Wang, co-CEO and co-founder of Des Moines, Iowa-based Thinking Systems.

"Through Thinking Thinking Systems ModalityBroker, Synapse users will be able to archive images from molecular imaging modalities to their centralized Fujifilm Synapse PACS,” Wang added.
