St. Jude steerable guidewire nets CE Mark

St. Jude Medical has announced the European CE Mark approval of its TigerWire steerable guidewire, well timed with its European launch.

The newest member of the St. Jude Medical GuideRight family of steerable guidewires, the TigerWire Steerable Guidewire is designed to enhance physicians’ ability to steer through challenging peripheral arteries, according to St. Paul, Minn.-based company.

St. Jude said its TigerWire Guidewire’s tip is designed with enhanced flexibility to aid in navigation through the vessels because its design provides distinct zones of flexibility to allow physicians to track and position the guidewire through challenging anatomy.
