TomoTherapy, Hitachi sign deal to distribute Hi-Art in Japan

TomoTherapy has signed a letter of intent with Hitachi Medical to distribute the Hi-Art cancer treatment system in Japan.

The companies said that the agreement terms between TomoTherapy and Hitachi are being finalized, adding that details will be announced upon contract signing. However, the companies said they expect the partnership to commence by the end of this year.
