GE launches precision reporting for Centricity RIS-IC

GE Healthcare has introduced the Centricity Precision Reporting, in which workflow is wedded with a speech understanding engine developed by M*Modal to capture patient data throughout the radiology reporting process.

Embedded in Centricity RIS-IC, Precision Reporting uses speech technology to better understand the natural flow of language for speech recognition without training or workflow changes, GE said. The technology creates structured documents that capture and store not just text, but discrete data elements based on clinical document architecture standards.

GE said that reporting is embedded in Centricity RIS-IC Version 10.6, eliminating the need for maintenance and monitoring of computer interfaces.
