MedCurrent releases online insurance eligibility verification

MedCurrent, a provider of healthcare practice management solutions, has launched its web-based insurance eligibility verification tool, MedCurrent Verify.

The Los Angeles-based company said that physician office staffs use MedCurrent Verify to connect with databases from more than 350 U.S.-based insurance carriers, to automate verification of insurance eligibility and secure real-time patient coverage information.   

MedCurrent said that through Jan. 31, 2009, radiology practices can access a free trial at www.medcurrent.com and use MedCurrent Verify to link up to four insurance carriers for 10 patient insurance verifications.
