Medipattern signs OEM pact with iPACS

Medipattern has signed a non-exclusive original equipment manufacturing (OEM) agreement allowing iPACS to integrate Medipattern’s B-CAD into its product line.

iPACS offers a full line of radiology imaging archiving and routing solutions that provide rapid access to images. B-CAD expands the iPACS CAD module to aid diagnosticians when reading breast ultrasound exams, according to the company.

"B-CAD helps us to organize patient information in a consolidated record saving time and provides detailed reports aiding diagnosticians as they work with sonographers logged into our system. B-CAD's digital reporting makes working with distributed sites possible,” said Henry Wyszomierski, CEO of iPACS. “In addition, it provides computer aided detection to give that CAD second opinion.”
