iSoft appoints managing director for Australia, New Zealand

iSoft Health Australia and New Zealand, a division of IBA Health Group, has appointed Denis Tebbutt as its managing director.

Denis was previously managing director of InterSystems Australia and New Zealand and oversaw its expansion in the region, including its healthcare business. He joined InterSystems as managing director in 2002 and has 30 years sector experience gained in the United Kingdom, Europe, Asia and Australia.

Denis has managed international operations and businesses for a number of software, services and hardware vendors and before joining InterSystems was responsible for the global operations of financial network services.

Gary Cohen, executive chairman and CEO of IBA Health Group, said that Nigel Lutton, who led the integration of the Australia and New Zealand businesses during the last year, and who is leaving the company for personal reasons, will work with the company for a smooth transition.
