NovaRad adds PACS contract with N.J. imaging center

Fair Lawn Diagnostic Imaging Center in Fair Lawn, N.J., has deployed NovaRad’s NovaPACS.

Fair Lawn said its radiologists can now access imaging studies, securely through the web, at any time to help speed diagnosis turnaround time for its patients. Since the PACS is standards based, built on the IHE platform and is DICOM 3.0 compliant, the system integrated with the imaging center’s existing technologies.

NovaPACS is NovaRad’s enterprise-level PACS offering fast image retrieval, full-feature viewer with seven-year on-site archive with offsite, emergency backup. Full screen viewing, easy to use menus and mouse-based functions are available to help referring physicians access images and reports from any computer, according to the American Fork, Utah-based company.
