California imaging center upgrades to Aspyra RIS/PACS

Aspyra has contracted with the Glendale MRI Institute, a multi-modality imaging center in Glendale, Calif., to upgrade the facility's existing PACS and RIS products to an integrated Aspyra RIS/PACS.

The Calabasas, Calif.-based Aspyra said its AccessRAD RIS/PACS is designed to meet the needs of acute-care hospitals, enterprise-wide delivery networks and medium to large imaging centers, with end-to-end solutions that automate processes at points of patient and imaging encounter workflow.

Performing more than 10,000 studies annually, Glendale MRI offers outpatient imaging services, including MRI, PET/CT, CT, bone densitometry and ultrasound, Aspyra said.
