AMS debuts new digitizer system
American Medical Sales (AMS) has launched a complete film digitizing system featuring the new Vidar Systems' Sierra Advantage.
The Herndon, Va.-based Vidar has reworked and repriced its Sierra film digitizer line, utilizing the Advantage LED illuminaton system and high-definition CCD detector. The features of the Diagnostic PRO Advantage unit have been engineered into this new smaller form factor model, according to the Hawthorne, Calif.-based AMS Another part of this upgrade is the availability of an optional automatic 10 fim, mixed size feeder.
AMS said it is now able to package a complete system, including Catella Scan software, PC and Sierra Advantage.
