Progressive MRI scoops up nine imaging centers

Progressive MRI, a provider of radiologic services, purchased nine new imaging centers in Maryland from Medical Resources on May 19 for an undisclosed price. Progressive has already taken over administration of the centers.

In addition to owning and operating its own centers, the provider reads and diagnoses imaging from 19 other centers for a total of 28 imaging centers, according to the provider.

"This is an exciting time for us because more facilities means we now have the ability to provide vital medical services to more people in Maryland's suburbs and rural areas," said CEO Rick Griffin.
