Sectra upgrades PACS

Sectra has launched version 12.1 of its PACS with RapidConnect technology, which marks the start of the third phase in the rollout of its new PACS generation.

The company said that the focus of its next-generation PACS is to "provide a performance solution for wide area radiology--enabling efficient workload sharing across multiple sites, even for very large image stacks over strained networks."

RapidConnect technology leverages patent-pending technology to faciliate multi-site workflow and rapid image and data delivery, according to Sectra. New features include a single sign-on; Web-based deployment; and integrated 3D and MPR capabilities.
