Viztek moves to North Carolina, increases storage services

Imaging informatics developer Viztek has officially moved its corporate headquarters to Raleigh, N.C.

The new 80,000 square-foot facility will support training centers for PACS, digital radiography and CR, while also housing product development, pre-staging, integrations and distribution activities, according to the company.

Viztek said the move also will support increased data storage services to complement its current remote hosting and disaster recovery. The services now will include PACS hosting, disaster recovery and business continuity, as well as standard off-site storage. To support this, the new facility’s data connectivity and IT infrastructure will increase storage capacity by 400 percent.
