Intelerad adds to PACS base

Intelerad, a Montreal-based PACS developer, has expanded its customer base with new contracts in the United States, Canada and Australia.

In the United States, a clutch of healthcare facilities in Colorado have deployed its PACS products including: St. Vincent General Hospital in Leadville, Colorado Springs Health Partners in Colorado Springs and Englewood-based Intelerad customer Radiology Imaging Associates & Medical Imaging of Colorado has chosen InteleOne to manage workflow issues associated with reading from mutiple PACS, according to the company.

Facilities in Australia that have adopted the firm's products include PRP Diagnostic Imaging of Sydney, New South Wales; Sydney Ultrasound for Women of Kogarah, New South Wales; Cabrini Health of Malvern, Victoria; Maga of West Perth, Western Australia; Melbourne Radiology Clinic and Ultrasound Care of Sydney.

In Canada, IntelePACS are located at Valley X-Ray Services of Abbotsford and Medical Centre Holdings of Peterborough. Installations of IntelePACS were also completed at Associated Radiologists in Saskatoon, Valley X-Ray Services and Breast Centre Radiology in Edmonton.
