Siemens scores U.K. ultrasound order

Siemens Healthcare has installed its Acuson X300 PE ultrasound system at the Malvern Community Hospital in Worcestershire, England.

The X300 PE Ultrasound system was deployed in the hospital’s outpatient department and will assist in a variety of scans for general medicine, surgery, gynecology and vascular work. It will also support orthopedic staff training in the scanning of spines and knees, the company said.

Funds for the system were donated by a local charitable organization that assists with the purchase of equipment for patients.
