Philips offers remote service for cardiovascular x-ray

Philips Healthcare has launched Remote Proactive Support technologies for its Allura Xper family of cardiovascular x-ray systems.

The Remote Proactive Support technologies monitor each system, send alerts and resolves potential issues, the company said. A Remote Desktop feature allows customer service teams to take control of the systems from an outside location.

The remote capabilties are a complimentary upgrade program to the more than 2,000 Philips customers with customer service agreements. Other Philips cardiovascular x-ray customers can purchase the upgrade.
