GE's new monitor links hospital IT systems, images
GE Healthcare has released the Carescape Monitor B850, which links hospital networks, EMRs, diagnostic images, lab results and third-party devices with patient monitoring data.
The company said that the Carescape Monitor B850 combines Datex-Ohmeda’s anesthesia and Marquette Electronics’ cardiac expertise. It provides clinical information displays by care area and clinician preference, while allowing hospitals to standardize on a monitoring platform.
