Toshiba scores first U.S. install of Aquilion Premium CT

PinnacleHealth, a multisite healthcare system based in Harrisburg, Pa., has installed Toshiba America Medical Systems’s Aquilion Premium multi-detector CT at one of its four campuses.

According to the Tustin, Calif.-based company, its CT system will allow patients to be imaged with low radiation and little-to-no sedation.

The installation of the Aquilion Premium marks its first deployment in the U.S., the company said.
