Tibotec acquires disease-management EMR platform

Therapeutic and diagnostic solutions provider Tibotec Virco Virology, has acquired the customizable EMR system-Lab Tracker HIV-from the Huntsville, Ala.-based company, Ground Zero Software.

The EMR software platform is designed to meet the needs of healthcare providers treating individuals with HIV and AIDS. The customizable system allows physicians to exchange data among clinics, laboratories and pharmacies and submit information for U.S. government data reporting, said the Yardley, Pa.-based Tibotec.

Lab Tracker HIV, which can also be utilized as a data-mining engine for clinical trials, outcomes research and grants proposals, is compatible with previously installed applications and can be installed on any Windows operating systems.
