Rescentris offers SaaS-compatible electronic notebook

Health IT company Rescentris has released its electronic lab notebook, eCERF, as Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) to deliver EHRs and  document management to research and development laboratories.

According to the Columbus, Ohio-based company, cloud-based eCERF delivers the functionality of CERF, combining compliant electronic recordkeeping with data and document management to improve laboratory efficiency and access to scientific information.

CERF serves multidisciplinary research and development organization requiring recordkeeping for diverse documents, data and workflows, including discovery research, biology, preclinical, development and engineering groups, said Rescentris.

According to the company, eCERF enables 21CFR11 compliant electronic lab records and document management–including standard operating procedures, role-based access controls, time/date stamping, audit trails, digital signatures, witnessing and PDF reporting to facilitate preparation for patents.
