Carestream nabs several DR installs

Health IT provider Carestream Health has seen a number of purchase orders for its DRX-1 System, a wireless, cassette-sized digital radiography (DR) detector that allows healthcare providers to upgrade existing analog x-ray rooms from CR or film to DR.

The DRX-1 system-which includes a console and wireless 14 x 17 inch DR detector- has been recently ordered by multiple East Coast healthcare facilities, including: AnMed Health, Anderson, S.C., Duke University Hospital, Durham, N.C., Wilson Medical Center, Wilson, N.C., Kaleida Health, Buffalo, N.Y., South Jersey Radiology Associates, Voorhees, N.J. and the University of Rochester Medical Center, Rochester, N.Y., said Carestream.
